Flowers yellow remaining open night and day golden yellow spine

A very well known cactus named after the Brazilian cactus grower F.G. Lenninghaus.It is a really super golden spined species.On older plants the crown of the plant begins to slant and this is a sign that the plant is mature enough to flower.The flowers stay open night and day lasting under the right conditions for around five days.They are relatively large and pure yellow in colour. Flowering period June/July
