This cactus is a native of Argentina.It is a robust clustering species that flowers even as quite a young plant.The Gymnocalycium andreas for sale here have been propagated from one single plant that I felt had superior flowering characteristics the flowers being of excellent size and colour.They offer a wonderful sight when fully open and the plant usually starts to bloom late April into May
