Known as Berlandiers hedgehog cactus and native to Texas and North-East Mexico this cactus is freely branching and has dark green elongated stems which can grow to around 2.5cm diameter and 30cm in length.Requires plenty of sun and watering only when necessary.In the right situation will produce masses of large 2.4 to 3.2 inches in diameter (6-8 cm) purplish-pink flowers with darker throat 2 to 3.2 inches long (5-8 cm). Stigma with 7 to 10 lobes"
